Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Browsing LarGrr is anonymous. No account, no signup, nothing to hand over. We run no ads, we do not sell your data, and we do not follow you around the internet. Here is the whole picture.
What we collect
- Nothing, to browse. Reading listings requires no account and no sign-in.
- Your email, if you sign in to the beta. Sign-in is an emailed link, by invitation only. No passwords, so there is no password to store or lose.
- What you type into a submission, if you send us an event. That content becomes part of the listing a curator reviews.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider: the usual request records such as IP address, time, and browser type. They keep the site up and fend off abuse.
What we do not do
No advertising. No selling or sharing of personal information for advertising. No tracking pixels. No profiling, and no scoring of who you are or what you like. We do not build a picture of you, because the product does not need one.
Who helps us run it
A few services do jobs we do not run ourselves. Each one sees only what that job requires.
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, and the Turnstile human-check on the submit form.
- Supabase: the database behind the listings, and delivery of the sign-in email.
- Adobe Fonts (Typekit): serves the typefaces the site is set in.
Cookies and local storage
Strictly necessary only. If you sign in to the beta, your session sits in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in; clear your site data and you are signed out. Turnstile sets its own necessary cookie on the submit page to tell people apart from bots. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies.
Photos
LarGrr is consent first. A person is tagged in a photo only with their approval.
If you are in a photo on LarGrr and you want it gone, email [email protected]. We take it down. Ask for erasure and the removal is permanent: it does not come back later, and no one has to argue for it.
Your rights
Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected]. We honor these requests for everyone who asks, wherever you live, because a right you have to prove your address to use is not much of a right.
California residents have rights under the CCPA: to know what we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to be treated the same either way. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing there to opt out of.
How long we keep things
- Beta account email: while the beta account exists. Ask us to close it and the email goes with it.
- Event submissions: kept as part of the listings record, since a published listing is the record of a night.
- Server logs: short-lived.
Children
LarGrr is for adults, 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
This is the beta version of this policy and it will be updated as LarGrr grows. The date under the title tells you which version you are reading.
